There was a time a few years ago when my wife suggested we switch away from the Senseo Douwe Egberts for a regular coffee machine because we were having company over and she wanted a big pot of coffee for everyone.  I advised her that we could simply make individual cups of Senseo Douwe Egberts coffee pods and they would really enjoy it.  She reluctantly went with my idea and what a hit it was! I remember that party and how much everyone loved the fun little concept of making each cup individually.
